Terms of Use Terms of Use Welcome to the PetLynx™ Utility Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before subscribing to the services offered by PetLynx™ on this Utility ("Service(s)"). By using these services, viewing, downloading, or otherwise using any Contents published on this Utility ("Utility"), you agree to be bound by these terms and referenced as a subscriber ("Subscriber") of this Utility. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use this Utility. This Utility is owned and managed by PetLynx Corporation ("PetLynx"). Your Obligations In consideration of your use of PetLynx™ Service(s), you agree to: (a) provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the various forms, and (b) to maintain and promptly update your information to keep it true, accurate, current and complete. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or PetLynx™ has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, PetLynx™ has the right to suspend or terminate your Service(s) and to refuse any and all current or future use of the Service(s). Passwords and Security You will receive a Subscriber ID and Password designation upon completing the Service registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the Password and Subscriber ID, and are fully responsible for all activities that occur under your Password or Subscriber ID. You agree to (a) immediately notify PetLynx™ of any unauthorized use of your Password or Subscriber ID or any other breach of security, and (b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session. PetLynx™ will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to comply with the improper use of Passwords and Subscriber ID. Your Conduct You understand that all information, data, text, software, music, sound, photographs, graphics, video, messages or other Contents ("Content"), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted, are the sole responsibility of the person from which such Content originated. This means that you, and not PetLynx, are entirely responsible for all Content that you upload, post, e-mail or otherwise transmit via the Service. PetLynx™ does not control the Content posted via the Service and, as such, does not guarantee the accuracy, integrity or quality of such Content. Personal Financial Information PetLynx™ does not store your personal financial information. When you make a purchase on the PetLynx™ Utility, PetLynx™ seamlessly forwards you to a well respected and proven provider of financial services such as Moneris or PayPal to complete the transaction so that no financial information need be stored on the PetLynx™ Utility. Why does PetLynx™ need personal identifying information? Some personal information is collected to provide customized Service(s) and Content and to operate this Utility. PetLynx™ also collects and transfers to Service(s) partners, the personal information volunteered by Subscribers requesting quotations or ancillary Service(s) offered through the Utility. Lastly, PetLynx™ uses personal identifying information for verification purposes on the Utility and in the Service(s) it provides Subscribers. How does PetLynx™ use cookies? "Cookies" are small pieces of information that are stored by your web browser software on your computer's hard drive or temporarily in your computer's memory. The proper use of cookies is an industry standard, and Subscribers will find them on all major Utilities like PetLynx. PetLynx™ sometimes uses cookies to store and track Subscriber information on the Utility. Subscribers are required to disclose certain personal identifying information through registration to enable PetLynx™ to deliver certain Service(s), and/or to request information or price quotations from third parties that offer services through PetLynx. Subscribers who click on hyperlinks or banner advertisements should understand that these service providers may collect personal identifiable information about them. These third-party web Utilities are not controlled by PetLynx™ and are therefore not subject to this Privacy Policy. Subscribers should check the privacy policies of these third-party websites and utilities to see how their personal information will be used by each proprietor. What does PetLynx™ do to keep its information secure? PetLynx™ has implemented industry-standard security features throughout this Utility to prevent the unauthorized release of or access to personal identifying information. PetLynx™ has no responsibility or liability for the security of personal identifying information transmitted via the Internet. PetLynx™ urges all Subscribers to exercise caution when conveying personal identifying information over the Internet. Can I opt-out of PetLynx™'s data collection and/or distribution? PetLynx™ cannot offer some of its services without personal identifying information collection and distribution. Consequently, PetLynx™ does ask for the submission of some personal identifying information. PetLynx™ maintains your personal information so long as you are registered for these PetLynx™ services.
